Winter Storm Survey
Do you or someone you know have damage from last week’s winter storm?
Please share and follow the link below to fill out a survey regarding FEMA and damages from last week’s freeze.
The objective of this survey is to identify damages across Texas, to help emergency management officials across the state gain an understanding of damages that have occurred during the recent winter weather.
Please submit one survey per impacted address.
Reporting damage to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency, and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.
You should still do the following:
- Call your insurance company and file a claim
- Register with FEMA
- Fill out the survey at the link below
- Take pictures, save receipts, and fix what is necessary to make the home habitable
**Reminder – FEMA will take time, even though Brazoria County was declared a disaster they are still assessing damages to meet the threshold for FEMA, inspectors have not even been out, and it does take time for the process.**
All citizens in every jurisdiction that had damage need to fill this survey out.
There is a threshold that Brazoria County needs to overcome, all other counties need to overcome that threshold too and then the State of Texas has to overcome that threshold too.
BEFORE FEMA can qualify anyone for Individual Assistance – IF the threshold is NOT MET then there will be NO FEMA funding to assist with the damages around our county.
