URGENT—MD-2 State Convention Hotel Space for Convention, May 30th-June 1st

Today, about half-an-hour ago, I became aware that the Waxahachie High School graduation has been moved to the same weekend as the MD-2 State Convention in Waxahachie. The convention was originally scheduled on this weekend, in part, to avoid that circumstance.

Currently we are fine since the rooms blocked for the convention are in place until the end of this month or the first week of May (depending on the hotel). To get the reduced rates we contracted for, it is urgent that anyone from your Districts that plan to come to the 2019 MD-2 State Convention in Waxahachie reserve their hotel rooms immediately. After the block date expires the rates go up &/or there may be no rooms available. See the registration form for the convention at texaslions.org for the specific block date expiration for each hotel.

Please help me get the word out to the Lions in your District.
