Sunday Sept 6th District Rolls to Sulphur & Lake Charles

Lions from throughout our District will be traveling to Sulphur and Lake Charles, Louisiana this Sunday.

We still need volunteers who can help haul supplies and can assisting the unloading at our destinations.

The team will be meeting at the Buccees in Baytown at 9:00 am with a departure at 9:30 am. We will split into two teams one going to Sulphur and one heading to Lake Charles.

We will be delivering Gatorade and bags of ice. We will also be bringing the two police departments lunch for their staff working on Sunday.

We still need Gatorade, our order came in short about 100 cases. If you are able to donate some Gatorade please reach out to Bayside Lions President Michael Burd on the East Side of the District or Ronnie Martin if you reside on the WestSide of the District. If you are planning on joining us you can bring directly to Baytown on Sunday. All donations dropped off to Michael or Ronnie will need to be dropped off by Saturday, the 5th. We will also be making one more trip Sunday the thirteenth.

If you are wanting to volunteer please remember we are moving cases of drinks and bags of ice. We need to as much as possible limit the volunteers to people who can haul and/or repeatedly lift 20lbs.
