Goliad Lions Club Gumbo Fundraiser for Lions Eye Bank a Success!

The Goliad Lions Club held their first ever Gumbo Fundraiser on Saturday May 8th at the Community Center in Goliad.

A filling, home cooked meal of chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, potato salad, cornbread and desert were served to all who bought tickets in advance.  All of the meals were sold and the proceeds benefit the Lions Eye Bank of Texas.

Our sincere thanks to all who bought tickets, and especially to the excellent turnout of Lions who showed up to work and make this fundraiser a success.
