Galveston Lions mourn the loss of their president, Lion Eddie Johnson
Club President, Lion Eddie Johnson went to be with the Lord this morning, April 28th. He had recently underwent heart bypass surgery and did not recover.
Lion Eddie was formerly a member of the Galveston Evening Lions that disbanded shortly after Hurricane Ike. I asked him to join our club in about 2015. He brought his warm smile, chuckle and wisdom to our every encounter. I will miss him.
Lion Eddie was currently serving as District 1 councilman, and was a reverend in his church. He was truly a man of a greater good.
Please keep his wife Bridgette and family in your prayers. May Lion Eddie Rest In Peace
