Rosenburg Lions Annual Sweetheart Dinner/Dance

Rosenberg Lions Club will hold its Tenth Annual Sweetheart Dinner and Dance on Friday, February 12, at the Milton Brenner VFW Hall Post 3903 at 1903 First Street (Highway 36 South) in Rosenberg.

The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken dinner from Ben’s Chuckwagon will be served from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wine and beer will be available for sale or BYOB. The silent and live auction will begin at 7 p.m. and end by 8 p.m., with the dance following from 8 p.m. to midnight. Al Sulak’s Country Sound Band will provide music for the dance.

For those who want to dance only, tickets to the dance are $10, payable at the door. The money raised provides scholarships to 10 local high school seniors, helps provide exams and new eyeglasses for local students, and provides transportation for children attending the Texas Lions Camp.
