5TH ANNUAL LAKE JACKSON ZOMBIEFEST & 5K
Get ready for the Zombie Apocalypse! The 5th Annual Lake Jackson ZombieFest 5K and Festival begins at 3PM Saturday September 10th. It’s a festival and Zombie Evasion Run where your sole purpose is to survive!
As a runner you will deal with the challenge of evading zombies that lurk behind every turn along a wooded trail and try to make it to the finish line with your flags. Can you survive? Or you can be one of the zombies, complete with special effects make-up. You’ll be chasing the runners and capturing their flags. How many new victims can you claim for the zombie horde?
Zombiefest 5k is brought to you by the Lake Jackson Lions Club and cosponsored by Creepy Hollow Haunted House. Zombiefest has something to offer for everyone even if you don’t like to run! Enjoy music, food, vendors, silent auction, costume contest and kid’s activities-including a kids walk, face painting and bounce house. Also enjoy special appearances by the crazy characters from Creepy Hollow Haunted House including a side show style performance! The Zombie Killer Team will be onsite with their zombie assault vehicles to protect the crowd from the zombie hordes!
Zombies have big hearts, so all proceeds from Zombiefest go directly to Lake Jackson Lion Club local charities.
