April 22 – 24, 2016, the three Lions clubs of Galveston Island, welcome the Lions of District 2S4 to the 2016 District Convention.

With 85 active clubs and over 2570 members, the Lions of District 2S4 are a vibrant part of the International Association of Lions Clubs.  Come and enjoy the convention and the Island of Galveston, where the future’s so bright, you gotta wear shades.

The convention has secured exclusive lodging for Lions in 57 rooms for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, 22-23 at the Comfort Suites. The website has an exclusive link so you may register directly with the hotel online for the Lions rate of $129 per night before taxes.

Shuttles times between the hotel and convention will be prominently posted in both locations.  Parking downtown is limited. Let us help provide the transportation and enjoy beach views during the ride along the seawall.

The main day of the convention will be held at the Galveston Scottish Rite, a historic building steeped in the 1930’s Art Deco Style located at 2128 Church Street, Galveston. Take a quick trip in time, and enjoy the lounge, theatre, and banquet room.
