Edna Lions Club Hamburger Fundraiser NEWS
On August 22, the Edna Lions Club hosted a hamburger plate fundraiser in support of Boy Scout Troop #138. The specific purpose was to raise funds to allow the Troop to repair the scout hut to usable condition. The fundraiser was a huge success. Edna Lions Club and Troop #138 send heartfelt thanks to our sponsor, Magnum Services, LP, to other contributors including Jackson County Hospital District and 7580 Power Washing, and to all in our community who purchased plates. In addition, we thank our local H-E-B for its assistance with the groceries and other supplies.
