Youth Contest Information
      2022-2023

YOUTH CONTEST 2023 is just around the corner!  This is a reminder to spread the information about the event and encourage any junior and senior high school students you come in contact with to participate.

Please try to sponsor one student this year for the competition.  This is an excellent opportunity to ensure any student can participate.

Thank you for letting us have such a high-quality turnout in the past.

We will hold the youth contest during the Third Cabinet Meeting on January 28, 2023 in Bay City, Texas.  The deadline to turn in all the necessary forms, documentation, and copies is Friday, January 20, 2023.  You can mail your original forms or scan a copy of your forms to the Youth Program’s Coordinator, Lion Paul Bland.  If you have any questions or concerns, please give him or the chairpersons a call.

The winners from the district contest in each category will receive first, second, and third prizes of $1000, $500, and $300 respectively in a college scholarship. The first prize winner from each contest will also get to represent our District in Texas Lions MD-2 State Convention in Forth Worth, Texas, May 18-20, 2023.
