I really believe in Lions we cannot over communicate.  You may see something about the District Convention numerous times.  But I want to be sure its out there, in all different forms of posts & communication and reaching everyone.  I just had someone contact me on why the registration was not out there yet.  It is – but not everyone looks at different forms of postings and/or communications.  I know some are – I have firsthand knowledge of that.  Following is from Lion Leslie Bateman, President of the Lake Jackson Lions Club and also part of the Convention Committee.

Hi Lions,

The District 2-S4 is right around the corner and we hope you and your club members can join us. We have a great weekend planned with lots of information, fellowship, and activities!

Friday night dinner will have Magician Ben Jackson, for entertainment. The convention has been generously sponsored making it super affordable with early registration (by 3/31) just $40 with all meals included! Wow!!

You also have an opportunity to place an ad in the district convention program to celebrate your club or special members. I have attached the registration and advertisement forms and a flyer with a schedule of events and hotel accommodations. Please share this information with your club!
