PDG Julie A. Dentler has been married to Past District Governor Charles E. Dentler since August 15, 1970. They have one daughter, one son, one grandson, and two granddaughters.
She became a Lion on September 1, 1980 and was District 2-S4’s Governor during 2010-2011. PDG Julie is a member of the Goliad Lions Club.
She has been presented the following:
- A TLC Level Three Progressive Jack Wiech Fellow, a TLC Endowment Brick, a TLC Gold Endowment Tree Leaf, a TLC Century Club Member, a TLC Life Member, & a 100% TLC District Governor Award
- A District 2-S4 100% Secretary’s Award, a 100% President’s Award, a 100% District Governor Award, & Inducted Into The District 2-S4 Ring of Honor
- A Texas MD-2 Ed Flood Award, a Texas Lions Foundation Award, & an Eddie Munger Lions Eye Bank of Texas Fellow

Previously, she has held many District 2-S4 Cabinet positions. PDG Julie and her husband, PDG Charles, currently share the position of International Understanding for District 2-S4. She was also a Lions Club’s International Foundation District Coordinator from 2012 to 2017.
