Back in Person Meeting…It Felt Really Good!

It’s been just over a year, March 17, 2020 since the Goliad Lions Club had a full meeting, and our first full meeting was a huge success.  Much business was taken care of, including plans for our upcoming Gumbo fundraiser on May 8th (see attached story.)  The Lions also welcomed Ms. Sheila Edwards as a guest and prospective member to the club.  Ms. Edwards has been a strong supporter of our club and we welcome her.

PDG Lion Julie Dentler was also presented with the Lions International Centennial pin for her continued work to spread the works of Lionism.  President Mindy Sullivan presented PDG Julie with her award.  Congratulations Lion Julie on yet another award.

The Goliad Lions Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at noon at the Blue Quail Deli in historic downtown Goliad.  Come join the best and largest service organization in the world.
