3rd Annual Hunger Awareness Food Drive

The Sugar Land Lions are collecting non-perishable food items during the Lions’ January Hunger Awareness Month benefiting Second Mile to help restock their food pantry after the demanding holiday season. We believe food should never be an impossible choice. Unfortunately, almost 4 million Texans are facing hunger with 1 and 5 being children. With more people finding themselves on hard times trying to recover from the pandemic and dealing with the cost of inflation, we want to try to lessen their burden and strengthen our communities by joining together with programs like Second Mile and citizens like you.

Items most needed:

Canned Meat (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.), canned chili, Canned Vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots, etc.), Canned Fruit, Canned or dry beans, peanut butter, pasta/dry noodles, rice, canned soup, canned ravioli.  Please no glass containers.

Drop off your donations at Lion Ever Ramirez’s Edward Jones office in Sugar Land Town Center. M-Th 8:30-5:00 and Friday 8:30-3:00.
