2023 MD-2 State Convention Bike Ride

If you are attending the state convention in Fort Worth and interested in a bike ride on our great trail system, here is the information.  We will leave the hotel on Thursday morning at 7am.  It is a short ride to the Trinity Trail through downtown.  We are going to ride from Panther Island to the Airfield Falls Trailhead. This is out by the Joint Reserve Base (Carswell Airfield, you can look online at the Trinity Regional Water District, trinitytrailsfw.com trail map for the route.)  This is a combination paved and gravel ride.

If you have a road bike which works on crushed gravel or chip and seal roads it will work fine. This is about 15 miles round trip.  If time permits we can pick another section to ride on when this loop is over.  All the other trails are paved, so if you are interested in another section bring your bike and I can direct you on where to go.
