Rep. Jason Altmire (D-PA) delivered a one-minute speech on the House Floor on Dec. 8, 2011 in honor of Lions, garnering increased support for H.R. 2139/S. 1299. This proposed bill would create the Lions Clubs International Commemorative Coin, an effort that would help raise $8 million for humanitarian and disaster relief work around the world.
